Salem's Specialty Roaster
Small-batch, single-origin coffee roasted on-site in Salem. We source directly from farmers who share our commitment to quality, and we roast in micro-batches so every bean reaches its full potential.
The Collection
We roast each origin at the temperature and time it demands — never rushing, never compromising. The result is coffee with clarity, depth, and a story you can taste.
Jasmine · Blackberry · Dark chocolate
A luminous washed Yirgacheffe roasted to a medium-dark point. The floral opening gives way to deep berry and a finish that lingers like evening.
Our Signature
Caramel · Red apple · Walnut
A honey-processed Colombian roasted to a golden medium. Sweet and balanced from first sip to last, with a nutty backbone that makes every cup consistent.
Everyday Favorite
Toffee · Cocoa · Smoked almond
A full-bodied Antigua roasted to a deep espresso point. Dense, syrupy, and profoundly satisfying — this is the one we reach for when we want something that holds its ground.

Our Story
Black Hole Coffee Roasters began with a simple conviction: that great coffee doesn't need to be complicated — it just needs to be taken seriously. We opened our roastery in Salem with a single 5-kilo roaster and a commitment to sourcing the finest beans the world has to offer.
Today, we continue to roast in small batches at our Saginaw Street location. Every lot is cupped, every profile is dialed in, and every bag is sealed fresh. We work directly with farmers in Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, and beyond — building relationships that let us trace every bean back to its origin.
Whether you're a pour-over purist or an espresso devotee, we believe the best coffee is the kind that makes you pause and pay attention.
